Electrician in Stonewall, MB | Panels and EV

Stonewall is a town of about 5,000 people, 25 km north of Winnipeg, and it is a separate municipality from the Rural Municipality of Rockwood that surrounds it. We are based in Winnipeg, and if you need an electrician in Stonewall, we take the job.

The town has grown at every census since 1961

Stonewall was founded in 1878 and became a town in 1908. In 1961 it had 1,420 residents. The 2021 census counted 5,046, up 4.9% from 2016. For any house job, we start by checking the panel and the wiring that is actually there.

A quarry opened in the early 1880s to produce quicklime, and the stone shows up in town: Stonewall Town Hall, built in 1912 of local limestone, is a designated municipal heritage site. If you own a designated property, check the heritage rules before changes.

What we take on

For homes, the usual jobs are panel upgrades, lighting, service calls and EV charger installation. Before adding a big load, we check whether the existing panel and service can carry it.

The town also has a collegiate, a hockey arena, the Veterans Memorial Sports Complex and a curling rink, so there is public-building and business work here. We take commercial electrical work as well as house calls.

Permits in Stonewall come from Manitoba Hydro

Stonewall is outside Winnipeg, so electrical permits come from Manitoba Hydro, not the City. When a job needs a permit, we take care of it and the inspection that follows.

We are open every day from 7 AM to 8 PM, and owner Elton is a Red Seal journeyman. Call with the address and the problem.

For a breaker that will not reset or a new circuit in Stonewall, tell us what you need when you call, and we will say what the job involves before it goes ahead.
